Who We Are

The Women’s Federation for World Peace Ireland (WFWP Ireland) is part of a global women’s movement with the mission to empower women as peacebuilders, strengthen families, and create a more harmonious world.

Founded in 1992 by Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon—known worldwide as the “Mother of Peace”—WFWP is active in more than 100 countries and holds General Consultative Status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC).

Our Story

The organization is united globally by this vision while addressing the unique issues and barriers in each region on the grassroots level and through high-level events.

WFWP was founded in 1992 in the Republic of Korea and quickly expanded to over 100 countries. Only five years later, WFWP was granted General Consultative Status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations.

Our Mission
